A home with character, but without the noise.

Soothing doesn't need to be boring, it needs a visual declutter and moments of energy that fit to the people living there.
Transforming your house into your home
A bold brief
A creative family with busy lives wanted a home that felt more intentional — with design choices that dare, without losing warmth or calm. The goal wasn’t minimalism, but a space with presence.
Exploration before decisions
We explored colour, materials, and layout options to find the right balance between expression and comfort. From storage needs to changing needs of a growing child, every decision was tested against how the family actually lives — not just how the space should look.
Soothing with character
The result is taking shape as a home with bold identity and everyday ease: calm surfaces, strong contrasts, and playful moments that make the design feel alive — while remaining functional for real family life.

Storage that supports both mind and home
In a typical Amsterdam apartment, a love for crafts, books, and art can quickly become both a physical and mental challenge. The home was full of meaningful objects — but lacked sufficient storage solutions to keep daily life organised and visually calm.
A balance between display and retreat
We designed storage around the family’s personality: open elements for expression, paired with closed cabinetry to reduce visual noise and support mental ease.
Flexible cabinetry, built to evolve
Instead of rigid storage, we created adaptable solutions — including sliding cabinet fronts that can shift the look of the kitchen over time, exposing or hiding what the family wants in that moment. Custom materials and high-quality craftsmanship bring individuality into every detail.
